Early Career Researcher Network.
The SIPS Early Career Researcher (ECR) Network is a new member-led community with the mission to connect and support placebo/nocebo researchers at the start of their careers. We welcome postgraduate students, postdoctoral fellows, research staff, clinicians, and newly appointed academics up to 7 years post-conferral of their PhD or relevant qualification. Our aims are to showcase ECR projects, foster collaboration with peers and senior colleagues, and provide practical pathways for skills development and career progression.
In addition to the summer schools and social events that run alongside the biennial SIPS conferences, we’re working to host ECR-focused academic and social events at other conferences worldwide. Join us to share your work, find collaborators, and help shape initiatives that advance the field!

ECR Summer School
This year we had another successful pre-conference Summer School for early career researchers hosted by the SFB/TRR 289! Over a day and a half, we packed in lively roundtable discussions, thought-provoking presentations, and of course, plenty of socialising. Here are some of the photos from the Summer School.
